1936 Buffalo 5c - NGC PF66 - Satin Finish ~ Brilliant, well struck, no spots, flashy satin surfaces exhibit bright rose and sky blue toning on both sides. The photos don't do justice to this beautiful, bright coin!

2450

1964 Roosevelt 10c - NGC PF69CAM ~ Brilliant, deep mirrors, excellent cameo contrast, no spots, no haze, no toning. Final year of the silver dime.

35

1827 Bust 50c - PCGS MS63 - Square Base 2 ~ Superb for the assigned grade, fully struck design features, surfaces display bright full luster with even light silvery-violet patina, no spots. A beautiful, original Bust half dollar that appears to be graded on the conservative side.

2750

1830 Bust 50c - NGC MS62 ~ Large '0'. Brilliant with sharply struck features and great luster for the grade, light peripheral golden toning on obverse and reverse. Great looking coin for the grade.

1650

1946-D Walking Liberty 50c - NGC MS66 ~ Brilliant, good strike and luster, light dusting of original patina over clean surfaces.

300

1954-D Franklin 50c - PCGS MS65FBL ~ Brilliant white, well struck, flashy luster, clean surfaces for the grade, no toning or spots. It should be noted that a MS66FBL example realized $6670 at auction in 2001.

1800 Draped Bust $1 - PCGS AU50 ~ B-12. Beautiful original light gray toning on the devices blending to a deeper blue-gray color in the fields, sharply struck with excellent detail throughout the design, smooth even wear with clean surfaces for the grade, no adjustment marks, remaining luster around the peripheries. Most examples of Draped Bust dollars show evidence of mishandling or cleaning. This wonderful high-end circulated early dollar is a delightful exception. A fabulous type coin!

9000

1849 Seated Liberty $1 - NGC MS62 ~ Bright semi-prooflike surfaces overlaid with a very light golden patina. The well-defined design details display a hint of the characteristic weakness on Liberty's head and eagle's left leg and neck, much less than is normally seen. A few scattered marks are visible on both sides, none of which are distracting and within the technical parameters for the grade. An obscure mint-caused grease mark under the N of United is noted for accuracy. Curiously, there is a slight reverse die rotation in relation to the obverse. With a mere 62,600 pieces produced, this date in uncirculated condition is rare, underrated and difficult to locate with nice eye appeal. This conservatively graded example, which has more 'pizzazz' than the photos suggest, represents great value and a noteworthy opportunity for the collector.

4250

1869 Seated Liberty $1 - PCGS PR63DCAM ~ Brilliant, flashy deeply-mirrored surfaces provide a stunning black and white contrast with the heavily frosted devices, well struck except for slight weakness in the eagle's left leg feathers, no distracting spots or marks, a few unobtrusive wispy hairlines prevent a higher grade. A miniscule struck-through depression, probably a fiber remnant from a worker wiping the dies with a cloth before the coin was struck, is noted for accuracy near star 10 on the obverse. Mintage was a scant 600. The photos don't do justice to this absolutely gorgeous coin for the grade!

5600

1878-S Morgan $1 - NGC MS65 ~ Bright glowing luster, no spots or distracting marks, exceptional gold and sky blue peripheral toning graces both sides. A beautiful, original first-year Morgan with loads of eye appeal. Note: colors are more vibrant and deeper than depicted in the image.

385

1879 Morgan $1 - NGC MS64 ~ Brilliant lustrous surfaces, well struck, no serious marks, a light band of gold and sky blue toning surrounds the peripheries, no spots. Housed in an early NGC holder. Note: colors are more vibrant and deeper than depicted in the image.

200

1880-S Morgan $1 - NGC MS65 ~ Flashy mint luster, semi-prooflike fields, obverse displays a crescent of vibrant rainbow toning while the reverse is bathed in rich golden color, well struck, no distracting marks. Pretty coin. Note: colors are more vibrant than depicted in the image.

1881-S Morgan $1 - PCGS MS65PL ~ Brilliant white, good strike, fairly clean cheek and fields for the grade, no toning or spots, good contrast between the frosted devices and lustrous proof-like surfaces that just miss the deep-mirror (DMPL) designation. A sparkling gem!

200

1885-CC Morgan $1 - PCGS MS64 PL ~ Borderline deep prooflike surfaces provide moderate contrast with the frosty well-struck devices, a smattering of gold toning graces the reverse and attests to the coin's originality, no spots or distracting marks. A beautiful better date dollar from the fabled Carson City Mint.

750

1886 Morgan $1 - NGC MS64 ~ Flashy bright cartwheel luster enhanced by intense steel blue and gold-rose peripheral toning on both sides, good strike, no marks of any consequence.  Solid for the assigned grade and housed in old NGC holder. Note: colors are more vibrant and deeper than depicted in the image.

125

1886 Morgan $1 - PCGS MS66 ~ Brilliant, lustrous surfaces that are very clean for the grade, well struck, no spots, a touch of attractive red-gold toning around the peripheries. The variety is VAM-4 (re-punched 1), but is not designated as such on the older green-labeled holder. A gorgeous, very high-end MS66 coin! It should be noted that this coin has been off the market since 1998.

425

1887 Morgan $1 - NGC MS65 ~ Bright cartwheel luster, right half of obverse is toned an intense steel blue and gold-rose color, well struck, no marks of any consequence, no distracting spots. Note: colors are more vibrant and deeper than depicted in the image.

265

1887/6 Morgan $1 - PCGS MS64 ~ VAM-2. A Top 100 Variety. Brilliant, flashy semi-prooflike surfaces display gorgeous cartwheel luster, well struck, no spots or toning. 1350

1890-O Morgan $1 - PCGS MS65 ~ Bright flashy surfaces display gorgeous cartwheel luster, no serious marks, relatively well struck for the issue showing slight weakness in the centers on both sides, no spots or toning. An above average example of this better date Morgan dollar.

1850

1853 Liberty Gold $1 - NGC MS64 ~ Bright golden color, sharply struck, frosty cartwheel luster, clean surfaces for the grade, no spots or discoloration. A frosty little gem of a coin that offers good value for a type set!

1950

1836 Classic $2.50 Block 8 - PCGS MS63  ~ Breen-6142 (head of '34). Brilliant golden color, exceptionally well struck with bold hair detail above Miss Liberty's ear (which is rare for this series), flashy proof-like surfaces that are very clean for the grade, no spots or discoloration. Gorgeous type coin and very elusive at this grade level. Loads of eye appeal and just a few minor ticks and lines from MS64 and a $20,000 price tag. There are two major varieties of the 1836 Quarter Eagle.  The Block 8 is rarer than the Script 8 by a factor of four-to-one, yet there is no price difference.

13000

1878 Indian $3 - PCGS MS64 ~ Brilliant golden color, fully struck design details, flashy cartwheel luster, clean surfaces, no spots or discoloration, doubling is noticed in the "3" of the denomination and near Miss Liberty's mouth. This is the most available date for the series, making this coin an ideal choice for a type set. Premium quality for the grade!

12500

1891-CC Liberty Head $10 - PCGS MS62 ~ Breen-7035 (re-punched mintmark). Brilliant golden color, good strike, flashy proof-like luster, very clean surfaces for the grade, no spots or discoloration. A scarce and exceptional example from the popular Carson City mint.

3000
1899-S Liberty $20 - PCGS MS63 ~ Brilliant orange-gold in color with a warmer rose-gold shade in the centers, semi-prooflike surfaces radiate shimmering reflectivity as the coin is rotated and contrast nicely with the well struck devices, miniscule ticks and lines account for the grade, no distracting spots or discoloration. An absolutely gorgeous, high-end double eagle! 2550

1909-S Saint Gaudens $20 - PCGS MS64 ~ Brilliant golden color, well struck, a few minor ticks scattered about the highly lustrous surfaces, no spots or discoloration.  With a MS65 valued at $7500 this high-end example represents a tremendous value.
